William and Ellen met on the second day of her freshman year at Ole Miss. We both attended Campus Outreach's first meeting at the ATO house, where William shared his testimony. After the meeting concluded, William's sister, Emma, introduced us, and that’s where our story first began.

They remained friends throughout that first year and into Ellen's second year, when William had moved back to Oxford to work with the Ole Miss athletics department. Later on that year, our friendship grew into something more, and from that point on, we’ve been inseparable. We dated throughout the rest of Ellen's time at Ole Miss, making countless memories together.

From the very beginning, the Lord’s hand has been evident in our relationship - in both the timing and the way our story has unfolded. While Ellen felt early on that William was the one, our relationship was built patiently and intentionally, growing stronger with each season.

On December 12, 2025, William proposed in his hometown of Ocean Springs, Mississippi under a beautiful tree canopy. Together with our families, we celebrated a moment that we will cherish forever!

We feel incredibly blessed and grateful to share this season with the people we love most. We are especially excited to be married in Oxford! A place that means so much to us, where our story began, where our love has grown, and where we will begin this next chapter together.
